LOVE TAKES COURAGE
I grew up in council housing in London, England. My father loved camping and my mother sang in Working Men's Clubs and dreamed of winning the Pools.
I loved school and dreamed of being a dancer or a professor of English literature.
Dancing won, and I bought a one-way ticket to New York City where I lived and performed for eleven years.
My grown-up path called, blessed me with a son and several career changes. Stories have stood by me when times were tough and lovers fleeting.
Today, surrounded by my garden, I write about people who fight for the rich lives and love we all deserve.
